"Assessing the Benefits of the New Dietary Supplement KETRICHO™ on Hair Growth and Nail Health: Findings from a Single-Center Study"

Abstract: This single-arm intervention study aimed to explore the potential benefits of a newly developed dietary supplement KETRICHO™ Blend with a carefully crafted composition of components on hair and nail quality in women. Micronutrient deficiency is considered a modifiable risk factor linked to hair and nail issues, and this research sought to investigate the impact of the supplement on these aspects. The study utilized the Trichoscale® method, a validated and non-invasive tool, to quantify changes in hair growth and loss. Both subjective evaluations by participants and expert assessments through a questionnaire were employed to gauge hair and nail quality. The results revealed significant enhancements in key parameters when administered 150mg dose related to hair status. Notably, the number of hairs in the growth phase showed a substantial increase compared to baseline (+7.5% after 8 weeks, +10.7% after 16 weeks), as did the density of fully pigmented adult hairs per square centimeter (+2.6% after 8 weeks; +5.9% after 16 weeks). Both self-evaluation by female participants and dermatological expert assessments confirmed a marked improvement in hair and nail quality. The consistent positive outcomes from the Trichoscale® method and subjective evaluations underscored the beneficial effects of the dietary supplement on hair growth and nail quality in women.
